What type of computer do I need?
Answer: A computer running at least windows 98 with minimum of 64MB of RAM, 2.0GB Hard Drive and Network Card.
Can I use the service with Apple or Linux?
Answer: Yes, as long as the computer you are using has a network card.
How do I connect to my computer?
Answer: Technician will initially plug cables in and startup the service. It should work automatically when network cable is plugged into the box.
How do I get email?
Answer: Call our office (810-658-6476) or ask technician at time of install and we will setup an email account for you.
How do I add a Static IP address to my service?
Answer: Call our office (810-658-6476) and it will be added for an additional monthly fee. Service is activated immediately after payment is received
Can I connect more than one computer with the service?
Answer: Yes, you can either purchase a router from us or one of your local stores that carry them. Almost all routers are compatible. With our service you already have a built in router and only need to purchase a switch which costs less so it would be beneficial to contact our office and speak with a representative. Can I use my Magic Jack or Vonage with your service?
Answer: Yes, but it may require an upgrade to run service smoothly because VOIP requires faster upload speeds. On some lower plans the service is automatically blocked to not cause problems.
Can I use Skype with your service?
Answer: Yes, but it may require an upgrade to run smoothly. It's best to test it with your currently plan and see how it works before upgrading.
Is there any special configuration that needs to be done to run VOIP service?
Answer: You might have to switch plans for service to work. Our technicians will configure the equipment to work with desired service.
